FOUNDATION HISTORY

Work with members in your community and make a difference

Hands of the Caribbean Inc., a nonprofit 501 c3 organization founded in 2008 by Flaurance Fofo Voltaire a Native Haitian herself, from Ley Cayes, Haiti. She is currently living in Albuquerque New Mexico and has been for over 30 years. Her vision has always been to help the people of her country, and what better way than by education. Her motto has always been to teach them to fish vs. giving them a fish.

Fofo is an active member in many different organizations including Rotary Club of Albuquerque, Links International, and many more.

Hands of the Caribbean Inc. was organized to help people who have fallen between the cracks in the Caribbean Countries. In 2010 the focus point was the Earthquake victims of Haiti. From 2012 to present day, our focus point has been education, to help those who have fallen between the cracks to learn to survive and make a future for their families.
